We have had many fabulous learning opportunities with the iPad2s the past 3 weeks! Mr. Hilder has been so impressed with the students and their projects that he printed several of their learning statements in this last newsletter. Please check them out !
As a wrap up activity, Ms. Utsunomiya and I planned a QR code scavenger hunt using the scan app on the iPads. QR is short for quick response code, it is a vertical and horizontal code similar to a bar code. I simply used a program to embed the written clues into the code(easy breezy, lemon squeezy) Students worked with a partner to scan and decipher clues about staff members. Several of the teachers had a special treat when the children arrived! Everyone had a fabulous time, especially the teachers! Here are a few pictures of the event!
